I often dream of things that I don’t understand…many of us do.  I am, however, pretty well versed in dream symbols…I’ve interpreted people’s dreams for a long time.  Anyway, lately in my dreams I’ve been looking up into the stars and watching them move into different patterns.  What I find so hopeful about that imagery is that stars seem like they are fixed and never-changing, but they’re not.  Everything changes…even if we can’t see it with our eyes.  I think my dream is telling me that we can’t get stuck into thinking that the world will never change.  Having faith in the possibility of change is what helps it along.  We can change the stars…I’ve seen it, we just have to believe that we can, and have patience in the process.  Real and lasting change doesn’t happen over night.
