Russia, and various other photos

Beyond trying to convert this photo from a PDF into a JPEG all morning,  I spent some time this weekend scanning old photographs onto a CD so I can keep them more safely on my computer.  My sons particularly loved these photos, and can hardly imagine that their mother had a life before they arrived on the planet.  The first was my five year old birthday and a great marilyn monroe shot.  I was only 24 in the next photo and full of hope for the world as I stood as the youngest envoy of the national council of churches on a historic mission to the Soviet Union, as it was called then.  I think this is in Leningrad, now called St. Petersburg.
